Our family recently enjoyed a week at Buena Vista Surf Club, nestled in the picturesque Pacific coastal hills of Nicaragua, and it was quite the adventure! From day one, the family-style meals allowed us to bond with other guests over delicious breakfasts-think fruit, oatmeal, and gallo pinto, which my kids surprisingly loved. The huts provide a comfortable stay, and we appreciated the honor-system snacks which made snacking easy. Just a heads up, the steep, rocky road between the property and the beach requires some effort, but it's worth it. We discovered some off-the-beaten-path beaches, ideal for families looking for a quieter experience. Manager Fabienne was incredibly helpful and kept in touch throughout our travels, ensuring we felt right at home. It was a delightful escape for our family!
